"Whatcha doing Grandpa?"
"Super secret secret agent stuff that you can't know about so shh sweetie..."
"Ollie, you go away too. It's secret!"
"Hi Allison!" Bailey tries to say enthusiastically.
Allison sniffs but soon it rises to a high pitched wail.
"No, no, no! Sssshhhh Allison. Sssshhhh. Go to sleep!" Panicking, Bailey tries to rock the crib but a loud crack makes her move away suddenly. The door swings open suddenly and Olivia rushes through, accidentally pushing Bailey away to get to the crib.
Defeated, Bailey stands back and looks at her mother with Allison.
I didn't even want a sister, she thinks, I even tried to like her but maybe she just doesn't like me...
"Bailey, you have nothing to worry about... You'll be a great big sister." Olivia reassures her.
Wiping a tear from her eye, Bailey replies, "You think?"
Olivia nodded.
"But what if we don't like eachother?" Bailey continues - delicately approaching the real reason behind her upset.
"Siblings don't always get on. You and Ollie have had your fair share of fights haven't you? But you still love it other..."
With that weighing on her mind, Bailey followed her mum to see Allison age up into a toddler.
It's official - my own sister hates me...
