The Bucket List - Ep. 3
Lou locks the door behind and calls up the stairs, "Sophie, Damon! We're back!"
"I'm in here Lou!" Damon replied from the living room to which Mikaela had already run to.
Lou traipsed in carrying bags of dresses, wigs, make up and shoes.
As she placed them all down on the floor, she saw Damon standing by a stack of cardboard boxes that he'd got down from the loft.
"What's that?" she asked while Mikaela rummaged through the bags to find her dress.
"Christmas decorations for the hall. There's some fairy lights, fake plants etcetera."
"Thank you honey, that's perfect! Where's Sophie?"
"In her room, I haven't seen her all day. I think this whole thing might be getting to her..."
"Daddy look!" Mikaela shouts holding up a perfect, white wedding dress.
"Why don't you go and out it on to show Daddy yeah?" Lou suggests, "I'm going to go and check on Sophie."
Both Lou and Mikaela go upstairs and turn different ways at the top. Lou approaches Sophie's room and knocks on the door.
"Sophie are you-"
"I'll be down in a minute"
"Okay..."
Lou steps away and goes Mikaela to help get dressed before carrying her back downstairs.
As she enters the room Damon falls speechless and wipes a tear from his eye. He opens his arms wipe for Mikaela to run into.
"You look beautiful Mikaela!" Damon said.
"And I've got something to make you look even prettier..." said Sophie coming into the room.
She put her hand behind her back and revealed a delicate, purple flower crown and handed it to Mikaela who wore it with pride.
Mikaela gasps as she catches sight of herself in the mirror ans spins around.
"Did you make that?!" Lou asked.
"Yeah, I did an arts and craft club at uni."
"That's amazing, Mikaela what do you say?" Damon replies.
"Thank you Soph Soph!" she cries.
After getting changed again, they head to the hall to start decorating.
"Right stay there Mikaela and tell us where to put stuff okay?" Lou said.
"Okay, do fairy lights first!" she replied.
A hour and a half later...
