Maxis Match vs. Alpha Collab w/ BollywoodSimmer

I have been working on a collab with a simmer called BollywoodSimmer and we decided to do a maxis match vs. alpha collab with her creating a sim that's alpha and me, of course, creating a sim that's maxis match. We both had to make a sim that :

Had bright/unnatural coloured hair

Was a young adult

Lived in the Cook Islands

Was a tour guide

And here is my sim Verity:

I prefer Maxis Match mainly due to how well some other simmers 'use' MM. For example, Cezzy and Hermetic Simmer. It's always seemed so cute and lovely then I try it and my sims look fairly average .

One thing I didn't like when I used Alpha cc is when the townies wore it crossed over with EA stuff, it looked awful.

My final reason why I prefer MM is that it matches the original EA content. This means that you don't need to have enough cc to build a full outfit which is really useful, especially when you just start out with cc.
