13:45 (DTZ) You know you're busy when you don't have one to write until the next day! Yesterday was a very sandy day; during the morning I swam in the Arabian Gulf which is connected to my hotel. I preferred swimming in the sea to the pool but it did really sting when the water went in my eyes. Of course, yesterday was Thursday which meant Desert Safari. There was dune bashing to begin with which was so fun! I screamed and giggled a lot though. The desert was beautiful but it was quite hard to focus your camera on when you are at a 50 degree angle to the floor. We stopped after a little while so we could take some photos but after that we were on our way to the camp. At the camp, there were lots of different activities to do including camel riding; I decided not to do that because the camels were tied up and not given much freedom. One of the things I had been really looking forward to was sand boarding but unfortunately it wouldn't work. The only dune steep enough went straight into a barbed wire fence and on the other dunes I got stuck half way down. That was not a success. I did however do some quad biking which was amazing. There was a designated area for me to go around but I was still able to go up some dunes and go really fast. I would definitely do it again if I had the chance. I also had another henna done but this time on my foot which I love. Despite this, when I sat down to eat (there were cushions on the floor) I managed to sit on my foot and smudge it. I decided to rinse it off there to try and save it which I was able to do and it looks fine fortunately. I bought a purse for me and a bracelet for @SimplyFleur at the souvenir shop before I left. I hadn't eaten much at the BBQ dinner so I will admit I went to StarBucks and got a massive sugared donut and ate it in my room.
