The Cursed - Prologue

The story of how the the Daniels family got cursed takes us back several generations, when the Goth family lived in their mansion at the edge of Willow Creek. It began with a couple; Danielle and Daniel Daniels. Not only bonded by love but bonded with a desire to be criminals. Together they plotted a plan to fulfill their dreams, no matter the consequences...

On the night of April 8th, they wandered the streets of Willow Creek, the excitement of being about to see their plan unfold driving them onwards. Guided by the moonlit pavement, they came upon the home of the Goths. Silently, Daniel pushed open a window, Danielle slid through it. Danielle was the agile one, Daniel the brains. Still hushed, the pair ascended the stairs to the bedrooms of the Goths,

murdering

every single

one

of them

as they slept

Whilst they committed their crime, their daughter, Danielle Daniels II, played in the basement. She was completely unaware of what was going on above her.

She heard the screams of the family and cried with them, wanting companionship.

It was the following day that she received what she wanted, in the form of Rosaline. After the murders, Danielle and Daniel Daniels ran away... without their daughter. Rosaline had been paid a large sum of money to sneak into the basement every morning and deliver food and water to Danielle Daniels II. However, the relationship between them grew.

Rosaline became Danielle's 'mother' as well as carer. The two were very close but Rosaline never told Danielle her parents' secret.

When Danielle became 13, Rosaline began to take her out of the basement. They sometimes went to the park. Sometimes they just walked along the streets. On Danielle's 18th birthday, Rosaline gave Danielle ownership of the Goth Mansion and for the first time left her to look after herself, she decided to tell Danielle her parent's story the next day. Rosaline died unexpectedly later that evening.

Danielle Daniels II legally changed her name to Rosaline Daniels in memory of her carer and went on to have a happy life despite her unconventional upbringing and deadly secret - unknown to her. She had a daughter named Victoria. Victoria then had a daughter, Georgia...

That is where our story begins. A family of four...
