Christmas In Charge
'Christmas In Charge'
'It's becoming Christmas again,
Seeing the whole family together,
Not being able to do what I want,
Having to go to every single event.
But what if I was in charge,
One Christmas to do what I want,
Eat, play, decorate and so much more,
I think it would be like this.
I'd have the biggest tree in the street,
Covered in lights and sparkly baubles,
Hundreds and hundreds of candy canes,
Spiraling upwards in a festive fashion.
Presents piled taller than me,
Wrapped in pretty paper and bows,
And beautiful snow would fall from the sky,
Glow and crunch beneath my feet.
But I guess for now I'm stuck with the same,
Poundland paper and turkey for dinner,
But it's not bad after all,
Its what everyone else likes and to me,
thats all that matters'
