I was sitting at the table with Lou eating breakfast. It was silent, after the police came and told us everything it's been tense. I looked down at the table as Lou took a chair. But suddenly,"Why didn't you tell me Lou?!" I shouted

She looked down into the cereal

"Daniel tried to shoot you! And he killed Lily! Lou why didn't you tell me this!?"

"Why didn't you tell me that Hun got shot?!"

"You nearly got killed!"

"I didn't want to tell you!"

"Why not!?"

"Because you were so happy to see me, I didn't want to ruin it!"

"So it was because you were so selfish!"

"No, no! It's because I car-"

"No it's not!"

I threw my chair down on the floor and ran into my bedroom. I collapsed on the bed and sobbed. I laid there for about half an hour before Lou knocked on the door, "Connie..."

I rolled over and buried my head in a pillow. She knocked again, "Connie, I need you to listen..."

I stayed quiet

"Okay, I'll just say it. There's a message from the police..."

Now I was paying attention.

"And they're coming around today. Apparently we're getting new identities."

I opened the door to Lou's surprise

"What?"

"It says here that we're are both getting a new identity."

She hands me the paper

"New names and identities for you both and a makeover for Constance."

Later on in the day a police officer who we hadn't dealt with before came with a hair stylist and beautician. Him and Lou sat in the living room whilst I went in my bedroom with the stylist.
