It's been 6 months since Lily and Sue moved in with us. Sue's got a job at the local school and Lily has a new best friend in Lou. It has also just passed mine and Daniel's 200 day anniversary, after this long with him I really feel like he's the one. I love him so much. He took me to Paris last month, we had a balcony with a veiw of the Eiffel Tower. Anyway, now is only two days until mine and Lou's birthday! I was getting changed when I realised that I had no flour for the cake, the shop shut in 5 minutes. I grabbed the first jacket (which happened to be Lou's jacket) I could see and threw it on over my bra and shorts. I ran downstairs and told Sue that I needed to go out and get sonething and that I'll be back in a few minutes.

I ran to the shop and managed to get some just before it shut.

I was walking back when suddenly an arm wrapped around my neck. I was pulled backwards into the bushes. I opened my mouth to scream but the stranger clamped three hand over it ; I began to struggle.

"Hey, calm down"

"Hun! What are you doing!? I nearly screamed because of that," I whispered rigidly

"I just wanted to wish you happy birthday..."

A smile crept onto my face and I giggled,"it's not for a few days yet"

"I might not get to see you..."

When he said that I felt a little tug in my stomach,"why?"

"I hear that Daniel has some plans..."

I gave him a quizzical look. Hun showed me a distant and melancholy smile,"He's going to propose baby"

"W-what... How do you know that?"

"He asked me whether he was allowed to"

"What did you say?"

He was silent. I knew...

He leant forward and ran his fingers through my hair before pulling me towards his body and...

"Hun, I think someone's coming..."

He held my hand,"stay quiet then..."

We sat there in silence...

"Constance!"

I lowered my head...

"Daniel..." said Hun

I looked up to see Daniel towering over us... with a loaded handgun...

I stumbled as I tried to stand up and walk toward him,"Daniel, it was nothing, it was nothing I-"

Hun pulled me back down to the floor.

"Daniel, put the gun down..." He said

Daniel aimed the gun.

"No, Daniel don't do this," I whimpered

He tensed his body

"Daniel," I tried to stand again,"Daniel don-"

BANG

"Hun! No, no, no..."

I looked up ready to take on Daniel for what he's done to Hun, but he was gone,"Daniel, Daniel! What have you done!" I cried into the night's emptiness. I looked back down at Hun.

The once lively eyes had been drained of colour and the lips that once held and protected mine now only moved up and down with pained murmurs and hallucinations.

"Hun? Hun, it's me Connie! It's me!"

His head lolled backwards into the bush behind us. The thorns scarathched his face. I began to wretchedly sob as I battled the thorns to try and reach is face. To kiss it better. I noticed the blood pouring from his chest before reaching for Lou's jacket. Still crying uncontrollably I placed it on his chest. Slowly, I laid down and placed my head on his chest,"Don't worry... I'm here... and I'm not going to leave..."
